The fun of the first title returns with various breeds to choose from, lots of accessories for the puppies and the possibility of training and competing with your little friends in different challenges and activities.

Nintendogs + Cats: Golden Retrievers & Friends uses the Nintendo 3DS system's built-in camera and facial recognition technology to allow the puppies and kittens to react to your movements, mimicking the tilt of your head and jumping up to lick you when you get close.

Over 20 breeds to choose from

Each puppy and kitten can have a unique color and personality.

The choice of breeds depends on the version of the game. The options include - French Bulldog, Toy Poodle and Golden Retriever.

Puppies and kittens come to life

Puppies and kittens appear softer, sweeter and more expressive than ever in three dimensions.

The adorable puppies and kittens react to your touch and voice via the built-in camera, touch screen and microphone. And thanks to Nintendo 3DS's facial recognition technology, they even recognise their owners.

You can also take pictures of your puppies and kittens by simply tapping the camera icon on the screen, then save the photos to an album and share them with your friends.

Play with puppies in your world

Thanks to the augmented reality of the Nintendo 3DS system, you can watch your puppy play on your dining room table or sitting in the palm of your hand.

When the game is inserted into the console and in sleep mode, you can take your puppy for a walk and count his steps with the Nintendo 3DS's built-in pedometer.
