b. while registering a user account

For the conclusion of contracts and other services, such as e.g.e.g newsletter with information on new products, we require, depending on the individual case, personal data such as e.g.e.g:

your e-mail address* which can also serve as your username,

as well as, depending on the context and the offer, possibly other data such as

  • title

  • name and surname*

  • address (full postal address, postcode, town)*

  • information relating to newsletters to which you have subscribed or other advertising;

c) Order as a guest

You have the possibility to place orders as a guest. If you choose this order method, you do not need to register before placing an order.

For an order without a customer account we require personal data such as:

  • email address*

  • title

  • name and surname*

  • address (full postal address, postcode, town)*

  • payment method (including payment information if applicable)

  • in case of purchase with invoice, it is necessary to indicate the date of birth*

  • in case of collection in store and/or delivery, the telephone number must be communicated*.

The information marked with an asterisk «*» must be communicated.

Please note that for each further order you will have to enter your details again.

We process the data that you communicate to us in the context of an order placed as a guest for the purpose of executing the contract. We store the information you have provided to us for the period of time necessary to process and fulfill your order. Your data will then be deleted unless you decide, within 14 days of your order, to activate your user account. Data that we need to store due to legal, regulatory or contractual retention obligations is blocked, rather than deleted, to prevent it from being used for other purposes.

As part of a guest order, you will only receive information about the offer and other promotions from Geek Group if you have consented to this. In this case, we store and use your data for this purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time. You will find information on how to exercise your right to object in section 13.

d) Newsletter

If you have registered for the newsletter, we will use your data indicated during registration for the purpose of sending the Geek Group newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive any newsletter, you can unsubscribe via an unsubscribe link in each newsletter.

e) Communication

We store and use your data if you contact us by telephone, e-mail or via our contact form or if you otherwise wish to provide us with information and to do so you transmit your data to us (including the content of the communication) .

f) Other

Within the framework of the legal authorization pursuant to art. 3 para. 1 letter or the Federal Law against Unfair Competition (LCSl), we are entitled to use the e-mail address you indicated when purchasing goods, works or services for the direct advertising of similar goods, works or services of our own.
