By touching the NFC sensor on the Wii U GamePad, or the appropriate accessory for Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL and 2DS , with a figure while playing certain games, the data on the chip will be automatically transferred to the game, allowing the character to appear on the screen, for example. As you play, your figure's data will also be updated, so by continuing to play you can make your amiibo truly unique!
