Here is the Nokia N-Gage QD. An attempt to combine a phone and a portable console.

Compared to the previous model, it offers a more traditional design for calls. The earpiece and microphone are positioned in a standard way.

As a gaming device, it has a color screen and dedicated keys. Games run on MMC cards, now replaceable without turning off the phone. It supports multiplayer via Bluetooth.

Apart from gaming, it is a phone with basic features like SMS, MMS, email and WAP browsing. It uses Symbian operating system and supports Java applications.

The N-Gage QD attempted to offer a more convenient mobile gaming experience in a phone format. While it improved on some aspects of its predecessor, it was not a great commercial success as a gaming platform.

This might be of interest to those interested in the history of mobile devices or looking for a hybrid device from that period.
