PSP Slim & Lite 3000 Black (RESTART)

PSP sets a new standard as the first portable entertainment system designed to provide consumers with a complete entertainment experience including games, music, movies, communications and wireless networking. Featuring graphics on par with the company's other home console, PlayStation2, PSP brings an unmatched gaming experience to a portable platform, allowing users to enjoy 3D games, high-quality video, full-motion, and the highest-fidelity stereo sound. PSP also allows viewing of digital photos and supports digital music playback in both MP3 and ATRAC formats.

PSP features a large 4.3-inch 16:9 TFT LCD screen that displays full color (16,770,000 colors) with a high resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. PSP offers built-in stereo speakers, an external headphone jack, and multiple input/output connectors such as USB 2.0, and 802.11 b (Wi-Fi) wireless LAN, allowing users to connect to the Internet and play online games via a wireless network. In addition, wireless capabilities allow software and data to be downloaded to a PSP and saved to a Memory Stick Duo.

PSP also adopts a proprietary product as its storage medium, Universal Media Disc (UMD), which is a compact yet high-capacity optical disc. UMD is only 60mm in diameter, but can store up to 1.8GB of digital data. A wide range of digital entertainment content such as high-quality 3D games, music, movies, video clips and other programs can be stored on UMD. To protect this content, a robust copyright protection system has been developed for UMD, which uses a combination of a unique identity, 128-bit AES encryption keys for media, and individual identity for each PSP hardware unit.
