Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros 3DS (RESTART)

In this fourth installment of the famous RPG series Mario & Luigi , the story begins with Princess Peach, her entourage, and her two brothers visiting the mysterious Pippin Island, invited by its equally mysterious owner, Dr. Drowsy. But after the initial warm welcome - despite the suspicious absence of Dr. Drowsy - things take a turn for the worse when Princess Peach is kidnapped and dragged into the Dream World by a new enemy, the ghostly bat king Inkubak.

To chase down the new enemy and save Princess Peach, Mario must enter the Dream World through Luigi's dreams, whose brain is revealed to be on the same wavelength as the inhabitants of Pippin Island, the Pippins. Alternating between Luigi's Dream World and the real world, the brothers must solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and even interact with products of Luigi's imagination!

The connection between the real world and the Dream World plays a key role in the game. As Mario and Luigi roam around Pippin Island in the real world, they must work together using their signature Twin Actions, while in the Dream World, Dreamy Luigi's powers are vital to Mario. For example, Luigi's Magic Mechanisms are magical ways in which the player can interact with the Dream World through the sleeping form of Luigi. By adjusting Luigi's moustache or scratching his nose on the bottom screen, the player can trigger a reaction in the Dream World, affecting the environment and benefiting Mario.

Luigi's dream powers will once again emerge in the battle sequences in the Dream World - dozens of Luigis will help Mario unleash formidable Luigi Wizard Attacks, moves that are very different from their typical attacks in the real world and make unique use of the features of the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL console. For example, in one Luigi Wizard Attack, Mario finds himself on a ball made up of a myriad of Luigis, and the player must move the console to direct the ball and squash incoming enemies. When attacking, countering or dodging, the console's 3D features are also essential for executing actions with just the right timing.

After winning a battle, even in this last episode of the series Mario & Luigi The level-based gameplay follows the formula of a classic RPG, with experience points and health earned and increased powers, but with the addition of typical features of the series such as Bro Points, needed to perform special attacks, and MUSTACHE, to increase the probability of landing a decisive blow in battle. Also, in line with previous games in the series, the award pins return, which both brothers can find or purchase within the game, if combined, allowing for useful bonuses following certain actions performed in battle, for example after launching a "Fantastic" attack. At the same time, players new to the series have help messages, easy mode and the slow attack function at their disposal to tackle the battle sequences more easily.
