A path full of obstacles

To complete her mission, Samus will have to travel deep into the depths of the planet. Along the way, she will encounter unique environments, ever-present dangers, and mysterious secrets. Use new and classic abilities to overcome these labyrinths, consult the map to orient yourself, and rely on a deadly arsenal of weapons to eliminate the enemies that stand between you and your objective.

As you freely explore the planet, you will encounter locked doors, surfaces that are out of your reach, and areas that are too dangerous for Samus to navigate. As you gain upgrades for your weapons and abilities, you will not only be able to overcome these obstacles, but also discover new paths and shortcuts.

Leaving the planet won't be easy - you'll have to retrace your steps to explore previously inaccessible areas and deal with the many imposing monsters that inhabit it. Not to mention that the missing EMMIs will prove to be much more dangerous than expected.

Armed to the teeth and ready for anything

Samus can call upon her trusty Arm Cannon at any time, but as she explores the planet ZDR she will also find additional weapons and abilities that will help her uncover the truth about her mission.

The Threat of EMMI

Tireless, relentless, and ruthless. Corrupted by unknown forces and no longer under the control of the Federation, the EMMIs that infest the depths of the planet ZDR have but one goal: to eliminate Samus Aran.

These deadly machines constantly patrol certain areas, called EMMI Zones. When you travel through them, use extreme caution and try not to get spotted. If the EMMIs spot you, your chances of survival are slim to none. In such cases, the best strategy is to flee.

Samus can rely on her speed, agility, and new Spectrum Cover to stay one step ahead of the EMMI, but to stop them once and for all, she'll need something more powerful.

At the heart of the EMMI Zones lies the means to temporarily activate the Omega Cannon, the only weapon capable of destroying the EMMIs. Keep your nerve and aim steady when using it, though, because you won't get a second chance...
