Developed in collaboration by The Pokémon Company and BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, the developers of the legendary TEKKEN fighting game series, Pokkén Tournament features refined gameplay and intuitive controls that make it easy for even those who have never played a fighting game before to pick up the game quickly!

Pokkén Tournament features a wide variety of Pokémon, bringing great depth to battles. Use Pikachu's powerful electric blasts and lightning-fast movements, unleash Machamp's close-combat prowess, or scorch opponents with Charizard's fiery flames!

Pokkén Tournament offers several game modes. In Single Battles, you face the CPU with three difficulty levels to choose from, so everyone from beginners to advanced players can enjoy the challenge.

In Local Battles, two players compete on the same Wii U console. In this mode, one player uses the Wii U GamePad and the other a Pokkén Tournament-compatible controller*. This allows both players to watch the action from their own perspective, using the TV screen and the GamePad screen**.

In Online Battles***, you can compete in Rank Matches and Friendly Matches. Friendly Matches allow you to battle other opponents, including players on your friend list. You can also challenge players who have entered the same Versus Code as you. In Rank Matches, you receive points based on the results of your matches. Try to get the most points and wins out of everyone!

There's also a mode that lets you connect two Wii U consoles via a Wii LAN adapter, allowing you to enjoy head-to-head battles at 60 frames per second on two separate TVs. In this mode, each player can use any compatible controller.
