My name is Michael Ford. We are under attack!

It all started with a freak weather system and rising water levels around Washington, D.C. Then "The Bug" hit the city, leaving many people bedridden with flu-like symptoms. In August, a terrorist attack on the Washington Monument ratcheted up tensions, and with the assassination of presidential candidate Harriet Reimer, things finally reached explosive levels...

Take on the role of Michael Ford, a former secret agent recently recruited into the ranks of the "Trust", in the explosive first-person shooter "The Conduit" on Wii. Washington, DC is under threat from the "Drudge", a hostile alien species intent on hunting down and annihilating the human species. The Trust was formed to counter the enemy invasion, and it is their job to investigate the background to this invasion - the alien attack, the enemy's motives, and rumors of a government conspiracy that just won't die down.

As a special recruit for the Trust, you will have access to a wide range of destructive conventional artillery, including an assault rifle and a missile launcher, as well as a series of weapons specially developed to counter the alien weaponry deployed throughout the city. But the aliens are not your only enemies: rogue agents have infiltrated the system and many humans are in fact bodies hosting the extraterrestrial lifeforms that have taken over.

In The Conduit You'll find many items that are essential to your mission. One of the most important is the ASE (All-Seeing-Eye) device, which takes advantage of the gameplay possibilities offered by the unique Wii control system. The ASE is a device recovered by Michael Ford, which allows him to detect hidden objects and enemies by projecting a beam of light into the surrounding environment. Search the areas for clues or sci-fi gadgets that will help you complete your mission and save your skin.

In addition to completing the game as Michael Ford, you can also take on a whole gang of friends - up to 12 people can compete in fierce online combat via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
