Stranded on a mysterious island, you must learn to survive. Use your wits to kill or tame the primal creatures that roam the land, and meet other players to survive, dominate... and escape!

TAME, BREED, REPRODUCTIVE AND RIDE DINOSAURS IN A LIVING ECOSYSTEM

Over 50 creatures are available to tame. Once tamed, you can give commands to your pet, which it may or may not follow depending on how well you have tamed and trained it. Pets continue to level up, consume food, and have an inventor and equipment. Fly a Pteranodon over the mountains, race through the jungle with a pack of Raptors, or chase prey on a T-Rex! Experience a dynamic ecosystem with its own predator and prey hierarchies. Breed animals through successive generations to gain the best traits. Or simply breed and raise your own baby dinosaurs!

FOOD, WATER, TEMPERATURE AND WEATHER

Eat and drink to survive, with different foods having different nutritional values. All actions consume food and water, and long-distance travel is exhausting. Inventory weight slows you down, and the day/night cycle and weather alter the environment. Craft clothing, build shelter, and use fire to protect yourself from harm and the elements.

COLLECT, CREATE AND PAINT OBJECTS

Chop down trees, gather ore, and more. Use your hands, a forge, or a fabricator to craft complex and powerful equipment. Build a massive base using modular pieces - ranging from straw to metal. Customize your base by painting it and placing signs. Weapons, clothing, tools, and armor can all be painted.

SUMMON FINAL LIFE FORMS

Bring rare items to special summoning points to awaken the mythical creatures of the ARK, ready for battle. These monstrosities offer a final goal for the most experienced tribes and their animals, and offer the chance to obtain highly valuable items if defeated.

RPG STATS

Level up your survivor by gaining experience through in-game actions to learn new engrams or find blueprints in the most dangerous areas of the ARK. Customize your character's appearance with a deep character creation system.

HARDCORE MECHANICS

Items have a shelf life and wear out with use if not repaired. When you exit the game, your character remains "asleep" in the world. Your inventory continues to exist and you are vulnerable to theft. Dying means losing everything permanently, you can also enslave other players for your own purposes.
