Made by Activision, the same creators of Guitar Hero , Band Hero is a music-filled game that is perfect for the whole family. With a track list of over 65 songs from a variety of musical styles and eras, there is something for everyone. The wide range of modes also means you can take on some serious challenges, or just make some musical noise with family and friends.

Learn to play with Band Hero It's really simple - singers just have to give their best when the words appear, while for bass players, guitarists and drummers, coloured signs appear on the screen (which combine nicely with the coloured buttons on the controllers) to show you what to press and when to do it. All you have to do is get into the groove and be willing to give it a few tries. Before you know it, you'll be bobbing your head to the beat and contributing to the band. Since each player chooses their own difficulty level, there's nothing stopping beginners from forming a band with those who've had a little (or a lot) of practice before and getting on stage together.

How you put together your band is entirely up to you! You can play solo, create a classic band with a singer, drummer, and guitarist, or mix it all up and have multiple musicians on the same instrument. There's even a classic karaoke mode, so if you want to do without all but the one instrument nature gave you, up to four people can belt out some classics without worrying about scores.

You can choose from a huge list of songs by various hit artists such as No Doubt, The Jackson Five, Nelly Furtado, NERD, Corinne Bailey Rae, Janet Jackson, Roy Orbison, The Spice Girls, Alphabeat, Taylor Swift, Marvin Gaye, Duffy and many more.

In addition to the usual modes where the band plays entire songs to score a high score, Band Hero features a fun Party Play setting where anyone can join or leave at any time with the push of a button. If you’re looking to test your skills, Rockfest is a collection of challenges ranging from extremely easy to insanely difficult that are sure to keep your band busy. When your bandmates can’t leave the house to play, they can stay inside – via Wi-Fi Connection, up to 8 players can take on the challenges! So stretch your fingers and get ready to send the crowd into a frenzy.

Best of all, you don't have to sing or play an instrument to get points and get in on the Band Hero action. This time it's really personal - Mii Freestyle Mode lets you jam out as your on-screen Mii takes to the stage. There's even the option to shoot videos of your Miis rocking out and share them with friends.
