We offer you a glass, which comes directly from the coveted prizes of the Japanese lottery system Ichiban Kuji (literally "contest no. 1"), a phenomenon linked to the collecting of material relating to the world of comics and animation born in trade fair environments such as the Tokyo Game Show or the Komiket. Gradually this practice has spread to the point of having dedicated single-brand stores in Japan.
Its specificity is that it always wins: for every ticket purchased there is always a prize, even if it is the blindness of fortune that decrees its value.
Each participant goes to the cashier and buys one or more tickets. Each ticket costs a whopping 10-12 euros and contains a well-hidden letter inside, ranging from a maximum of A, the best prize, to prizes indicated with successive letters, a prize of lesser value but still worth collecting. In fact, all the prizes are exclusive items, not available on the market and branded Ichiban Kuji. This means that even the worst prize has an intrinsic value that is all in all high, especially on the collector's market!
The glass in question is a first prize in the lottery linked to the world of Dragon Ball, which features half-length black and white portraits above the Dragon Ball logo of some of the most important characters from the narrative arc of the arrival of the Saiyans, in order: Vegeta, both ape-sized and normal, Goku, Gohan, Napa, Junior, and Jirobai.
