The Joy-Con make the Nintendo Switch console truly unique: they offer full control, in any gaming situation, both at home and on the go. For example, they can be removed from the console and used in pairs to form a single controller (we recommend using the Joy-Con grip, included with the purchase of each console, or the Joy-Con charging grip, sold separately). Each Joy-Con can also be used individually, either horizontally (for classic game control) or vertically, taking advantage of accurate motion sensors and much more, for an engaging and immersive gaming experience (make sure the software supports these functions). They can also be inserted into the console, for convenient play on the go. The Joy-Con are also perfect for multiplayer gaming: just share them with friends for group fun!

The left Joy-Con features a Capture Button that players can press to capture in-game screenshots to share with friends on social media. The right Joy-Con includes an NFC touchpoint that allows for interaction with amiibo, as well as an IR camera that can detect the distance, shape and movement of nearby objects in specially created games. This allows the controller to measure how far away a player's hand is, for example, and even distinguish between rock, paper and scissors. Both Joy-Con include an advanced HD rumble function, which can produce vibrations that are much more realistic than in
passed into compatible games. The effect is so detailed that a player could, for example, feel the vibration of individual ice cubes colliding in a glass when shaking a Joy-Con. HD rumble provides a level of realism that would otherwise only be achieved with sound and graphics.

Each bundle includes 1 left Joy-Con (neon purple), 1 right Joy-Con (neon orange), and 2 Joy-Con straps, which provide a more comfortable grip and reduce risks in games that require flapping, for example.
