Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World (Nintendo 3DS)

Yoshi's Woolly World features gameplay similar to Kirby's Epic Yarn. The game is compatible with amiibo and features two-player co-op play.

The Nintendo 3DS version features the same stages as the Wii U version, and includes stages specific to the new playable character, Poochy . The game also includes 30 stop-motion shorts, starring Yoshi and Poochy, created by animation studio Dwarf.

The story takes place on Ball Island, inhabited by Yoshi and his dinosaur friends. Their peaceful tranquility, unfortunately, is interrupted by Kamek, who begins to transform everyone into balls of yarn and kidnap them on the orders of Baby Bowser, who wants to use them to build a new, bigger castle. It will therefore be up to Yoshi and a red Yoshi, who escaped from Kamek, to restore peace.
