In Shenmue 2 , the player takes on the role of Ryo Hazuki, a young man dedicated to tracking down his father's killer and unraveling the mysteries of the Phoenix Mirror. Shenmue II picks up where Shenmue left off , taking Ryo to Hong Kong with many unanswered questions as he searches for Lan Di, the man who killed his father.
