Rayman is a side-scrolling platform game featuring a bizarre character with fists for arms and feet for legs. Rayman embarks on a strange mission to save the Great Protoon and his little followers from the evil Mister Dark. Because the Earth relies on the Great Protoon to maintain balance and harmony, the planet is now in chaos. Guide Rayman through 70 cartoon-style levels, facing over 50 bizarre enemies who will try to defeat the limbless hero.

Along the way, you'll need to free singing creatures called Electoons from their cages. Don't expect a walk in the park, though. Enemies are designed to learn your playstyle and defeat you. Acquire new moves and abilities as you progress through the game world, and return to previous levels to discover hidden secrets. Rayman features CD-quality sound effects and music, vibrant vistas with 65,000 colors, and four independently scrolling background levels. A memory card with two blocks of free space is required to save your progress.
