A bright metropolis

There's a city development plan underway in Lumiose City! The goal is to make the city a place where Pokémon and people can truly coexist. As soon as you arrive, you'll be able to choose one of these partner Pokémon to join you on your adventure: Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile.

Together, you can explore the streets of this large city, or visit the wild areas, environments where you will encounter wild Pokémon. To catch them, take aim and throw a Pokéball, or battle them with the help of the Pokémon in your team.

New dynamic struggles

For the first time, Trainers and Pokémon will be able to move and act in real time during battle. Pokémon will execute their moves in response to their Trainers' commands.

In addition to type matchups, there will be new mechanics to consider, such as the timing of when to switch out your Pokémon or make moves, the time it takes for different moves to launch, and the size of the attack area of ​​moves.

Mega Evolutions are back!

In Lumiose City, Pokémon can go beyond traditional Evolution and Mega Evolution! When a Trainer’s Key Stone resonates with their Pokémon’s Mega Stone, that Pokémon will not only change size and shape—it will also unlock a new level of power that can turn the tide of a battle!
