Sometimes scared, sometimes brave, Captain Toad sets out on his first adventure! This puzzle-platformer sees the little hero from SUPER MARIO 3D WORLD on a journey through a series of gorgeous levels!

Use the Wii U gamepad (not included) to look around from every angle in each of the richly detailed levels, and guide Captain Toad to safety. There are many adventures waiting for him, including levels where you can use his point of view on the screen of the gamepad (not included), and encounters with enormous enemies!

Toadette joins Captain Toad on his incredible adventure. Unlike traditional video game heroes, Captain Toad and Toadette don't have any special powers - these little creatures can't even jump! They're also terrified of just about everything, but they're up for the adventure head-on. Armed with a flashlight and a can-do attitude, they must make their way through enemy-infested locations like a Wild West shanty town or a Goomba-filled water park. Each location is packed with puzzles to solve and secrets to discover.

The little heroes are on a quest to find a precious treasure, the coveted Power Star. At the start of their adventure, Wingo, a giant, greedy bird who makes life difficult for these timid treasure hunters, runs away with their only Power Star, and takes Toadette with him! Help Captain Toad recover the Power Star, reunite with Toadette, and ultimately defeat Wingo. Along the way, they will have to tackle over 70 fun and brain-teasing levels, collecting stars and gems!
