Once again, you take control of undercover cop Tanner in a series of high-speed missions set across a variety of cities. This time, Tanner is on the trail of an international crime syndicate. A mysterious buyer has ordered 40 high-performance cars, and Tanner's goal is to uncover the identities of the syndicate members and bring down the operation, a feat that will take place from the neon-lit streets of Miami, the rolling hills of Nice, and the arid plains of Istanbul.

As always in the series of Driver , the emphasis is on spectacular and thrilling car chases like those seen in Hollywood. As you progress through the main game's 30+ missions, you'll be able to try out over 70 different vehicles, each with unique characteristics. Reflections continues to demonstrate its unmatched mastery of virtual driving by combining realistic physics with a practical oversteer handling model (where classic drifting is in abundance) for thrilling chases. In addition to muscle cars, hot rods, pickup trucks, buses and even dump trucks, for the first time in Driv3r there are also motorcycles, with all the new possibilities that they bring with them.

Once again, there's a full replay mode that lets you act as a director by positioning the camera view as you like, and customize videos of your memorable moments. If you just want a quick, classy shot of what's happening on screen, the 'Thrill Cam' button gives you a cinematic angle and a slow motion option to dramatize the action in real time.

It all begins in Miami, where Tanner works for a division of the FBI attached to the Miami PD. As the net tightens around the ruthless car thieves, the action moves to the picturesque hills of Nice, eventually culminating in an explosive finale in Istanbul. Outside of the car, Tanner has a range of weapons to aid him in his fight against the crime syndicate, including pistols, shotguns and semi-automatics. Cleverly, Tanner’s on-foot excursions can be played in either first or third person, depending on your preference.

The gripping story of Driv3r is told through a series of stunning cinematic animated sequences, which in the English version are voiced by the likes of Michael Madsen, Ving Rhames and Mickey Rourke, contributing to an overall feel comparable to a Hollywood production.
