In the small kingdom of Horne, the main character Brandt wakes up on his 14th birthday. It's the day he wants to celebrate his coming of age. Instead, he is summoned by the king himself and given a task. The king's daughter has been kidnapped by the Witch of the North, and since no one else seems up to the task, it's up to you to follow in Brandt's footsteps and save the princess. Was it all there before? We'd say so too. But Final Fantasy stories are known for their many twists and turns.

However, you will be accompanied by three companions who will support you in turn-based battles. "That simply requires a four-player mode," you say? That's right, Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes Of Light can be played with up to three friends. In multiplayer mode you then diligently collect so-called battle points, which you can then exchange for very rare and valuable items in single player mode.

The independent story and completely redesigned environments come from the same team that brought Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV to the Nintendo DS. Akihiko Yoshida is responsible for the art style. By the way, characters can change classes in a very simple way, namely by donning a different hat. The developers promise almost endless strategic possibilities.
