Nintendo Land, available at the launch of Wii U, takes the player into the fantastic world of Nintendo franchises! Don't call it a simple collection of minigames: Nintendo Land, with its variety and depth of gameplay, is much more! The player is immersed in a theme park, where the Attractions are fun games dedicated to the most famous Nintendo series. Each of these Attractions manages to entertain in a different way, thanks to the many and innovative gameplay possibilities offered by the Wii U GamePad. In total there are 12 incredible Attractions, some for a single player, others with both cooperative and competitive multiplayer.

In this game the real protagonist is the Wii U GamePad, which introduces a ton of new gameplay features. Thanks to the GamePad it is possible to create what is defined as "asynchronous gameplay": those following the game action on the GamePad can in fact view a different screen than the one viewed by other players on the TV screen.
A practical example: in the attraction "Luigi's Haunted Mansion" the GamePad user is a ghost that other players can see on the TV screen only if they spot it with the flashlight they have in their hand. This way the ghost can move freely, hunting down the poor Miis controlled by other players&hellip fun is guaranteed!
In other cases, this special controller offers its touch screen (for example to throw a ninja star or to draw a path) or its motion-sensitive controls (to pilot a futuristic vehicle or change the game view), always with the aim of creating great fun!

The heart of Nintendo Land is of course the Attractions, which are briefly described in the following pages. Each attraction has its own personality, its own depth and its own delicate nuance of fun.
It is thanks to this depth that Nintendo Land should not be considered a collection of mini games, but a truly great game, complete in every aspect and already a consecrated star of evenings dedicated to fun with family or friends. It is important to underline that even the Attractions in theory for a single player, still offer the possibility of support from other players.
