Fight for survival by exploring the vast expanses of an unknown planet where everything is reachable in Xenoblade Chronicles X . In this epic sci-fi RPG, you will venture into a vast open world and pilot massive robots, called Skells, to explore the planet and fight against threats of all sizes.

When Earth is destroyed in a war between two highly advanced alien races, the remnants of humanity are forced to abandon the planet. After years of wandering through deep space in search of a new home, the spaceship White Whale crashes on a massive, mysterious planet known as Mira. Now, two months after these events, your adventure is about to begin...

Mira is a vast alien world with endless oceans, vast plains, towering mountain ranges, exotic jungles, and other environments, each with their own secrets to discover and dangers to face. During your travels, you can seamlessly move across the planet's surface and explore vast areas, observe the life forms of the various ecosystems, and encounter gigantic and unknown beasts, which you can fight against for useful resources. Visiting different environments at different times of day will allow you to see them in a new light each time.

Explore Planet Mira with your companions, battle giant creatures, and search for survivors as part of a planetary rescue mission. When you have no choice but to fight, jump into action in real-time battles, where you must combine melee and ranged attacks using special moves called Techniques. Each character has a unique set of Techniques and abilities, so choose companions who can work together best!

Using Skells, massive robotic exoskeletons, you can also explore the planet Mira at high speed or take on gigantic monsters! Skells can fly you to locations unreachable on foot, transform into vehicles to speed across the planet's surface and damage otherwise invulnerable enemies.

Take on quests to advance the story, strengthen bonds with your companions, or meet new characters. The goal may be to defeat a certain enemy, find rare resources, or map an unknown area, and different quests will be available depending on the time of day.

At the start of the game, you will be able to create your own avatar by choosing from a range of customizable features, including gender, face type, body proportions, skin color, facial features, hair, eyes, makeup, and voice. You are free to choose the look and voice that you like the most. Use the wide range of options to create a character that you can identify with and start exploring Mira.

Join an online party to share and receive information about items, quests, and areas of the planet from other players. You can even take part in co-op missions for up to four players with your party members! You can also recruit other players' avatars and use them in the single-player story.
