EA Sports' Fight Night Round 3 from EA Chicago lets you create your own fighter, train them, and literally take over the world. Start by creating your own champion and customizing their appearance, the gear they carry, their fighting style, their weight class, their signature move, and even their illegal strike. Get gear and sneakers for your fighter to improve their appearance and performance. Then take your fighter into career mode where you'll play fights from the local gym all the way up to five-star locations. Get trainers to enhance your training and increase your speed and power. Play against randomly generated fighters throughout the leaderboard until you beat them in points or a pulp. Some fights may earn you a little extra cash as an incentive or give you a promotional deal, but choose your fights carefully because strategy inside the ring won't matter if you mishandle your fisherman outside. Fight intelligently during the fight using the Total Punch Control System to throw the punches you want using the analog stick. The Total Punch Control System maps your punches to the analog stick eliminating the need for mindless button mashing. You can also join in on historic fights like Taylor vs. Hopkins, Gatti vs. Ward or Robinson vs. Lamotta in ESPN Classic mode to play out the fights that made boxing history. Once you turn off your computer for the count, you can play any fighter or user-created fighter or any ESPN Classic fight in local multiplayer with a friend.
