Valkyria Chronicles takes place on a fictional continent inspired by 1930s Europe, on the brink of an epochal war. The game follows Welkin, a heroic commander who leads his small platoon against two neighboring enemy nations. Gallia, Welkin's small nation, is embroiled in battle when the Valkyria, an ancient race with special powers thought to exist only in legend, turns the tide of the war. Faced with this new threat, Welkin and his troops fight with determination for freedom and a better future.

Take up arms and embark on an epic adventure across fantastical landscapes. Fight against hordes of troops to save the small nation of Gallia from total annihilation.
