The story of Skylanders Imaginators takes place in the distant past when the Ancients used a mysterious power known as “Mind Magic” to create Skylands and everything in it. With this power, they created anything they could imagine. However, they soon realized that this power could be very dangerous in the wrong hands, and so they sealed it away so it could never be misused. With the knowledge of this ancient secret, Kaos has once again unleashed the power of “Mind Magic” into Skylands to create an unstoppable army of Doomlanders unlike anything ever seen! Now it’s up to the Portal Masters to create the Skylanders Imaginators using the power of imagination to stop Kaos and his evil Doomlanders before it's too late. To train them properly, Eon has sent the mystical warriors Sensei!

Skylanders Imaginators supports over 300 toy characters from all previous Skylanders series - including Skylanders® SuperChargers , Skylanders® Trap Team , Skylanders® SWAP ForceTM, Skylanders® Giants and Skylanders® Spyro's Adventure - playable in both the real and virtual world. Adding new Skylanders to their collection players will experience a new and expanded gaming experience.

Characteristics:

• Create your own custom Skylander – For the first time, fans can bring their imaginations to life by creating their own Skylanders called Skylanders Imaginators. With a near-infinite range of powers, abilities, character phrases, appearances and more, fans can assemble countless unique creations to suit their imagination. Alternatively, they can use the random feature that lets the game decide how each factor will be combined on its own.
  
  
• Crystal of Creation – Skylanders Imaginators introduces a new type of toy -- the Creation Crystal. This tool allows players to create and transport their own unique Skylanders to consoles anytime, anywhere! Creation Crystals are aligned according to elemental criteria. Portal Masters can create one character per Creation Crystal.
  
• Here are the Senseis! – Skylanders never ceases to introduce new and exciting characters that players will progressively discover as the game progresses. Skylanders Imaginators introduces the extraordinary participation of the Senseis. The introduction of the Senseis features 20 new characters and 11 former Villains. Each Sensei masters one of 10 powerful combat Classes (for example: Knight, Sorcerer, Brawler and more).

As masters of the Battle Classes, only Senseis have the ability to unleash Sky Chi – the ultimate Battle Class super move. Skylander Senseis have a mentor-apprentice relationship with the newly created Imaginator Skylanders. This means the Sensei can unlock exclusive weapons for the Imaginator, unlock the Imaginator's level progression allowing access to special areas, and unlock new Secret Techniques for Imaginators of the same class.

• New storyline and gameplay – Skylanders Imaginators features an all-new, immersive and adventurous storyline with fun, new characters and returning favorites. The story-driven gameplay is dynamic and diverse, sparking the imagination, inspiration and passion of players as they create their own superheroes. Skylanders Imaginators supports multiplayer co-op mode. Players can place two Creation Crystals or two toys or a combination of Crystals and toys on the Portal of Power to maximize the fun!
