The Weyland-Yutani Archaeological Expedition team assigned to the Freya research mission on planet BG-386 inadvertently unearthed something that only the accompanying Bioweapons Division team hoped they would find.

A deadly parasitic lifeform, dormant for centuries, is awakened and proceeds to slaughter the entire colony.
