There are no goals, no story, not even an ending - you can enjoy life in your new city however you want. And since time in the game passes at the same speed as in the real world, every day brings new experiences!

Your first steps in Animal Crossing: New Leaf are a mix-up - shortly after your arrival in town you are elected mayor due to a mistake by Isabelle, the secretary! You can continue to do whatever you want, but your new powers allow you to shape the town to your liking - you can define public works projects to construct buildings, bridges and all sorts of decorative objects, or issue ordinances (a fancy term for "laws") that dictate how the town is organized. In short, you are free to create the town of your dreams!

If you like to be constantly bathed in sunlight, there's nothing better than a trip to a tropical island! Hop on a boat with Remo and get ready to freely explore an island full of tropical fruits, insects and fish. And while you're there, consider joining a few tours - there are plenty of minigames you can play alone, with friends or with other players online. And at the end, you can exchange the medals you've won for some souvenirs to take home.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf you can express yourself even more freely! You can buy new clothes (shirts, pants, skirts, hats, masks and even shoes) from the Ago e Filo sisters or from Sciuscià, add rooms to your house or furnish it with new furniture and set up personal exhibitions in the local museum. Or you can go listen to KK in concert or at the console at CLUB LOL, go shopping in Via degli Acquisti or customize your house and your furniture by creating your own projects at Ricicla e Ricrea. In the game you will find this and much more!

You can also experiment Animal Crossing: New Leaf with friends, family, and even people you don't know! Up to four people can live in the same town using a single Game Card (and playing at different times) - so you can share the experience with those around you. You can also use StreetPass to share your home with other people or visit theirs in the Home Peek Neighborhood, or visit other players' towns online while you sleep in the Dream House.
