Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland , the long-awaited final chapter of the series Atelier is an RPG that revisits, in a modern and advanced way, the typical characteristics of RPGs.
Arland, a small kingdom located on the edge of a large valley, the kingdom remained isolated until the day they found ancient relics called "Machines", found in the ruins of Nearby. Within this kingdom lies a now forgotten alchemist's laboratory. This laboratory was once very busy, but due to the discovery of machines or perhaps the laziness of the owner, customers have stopped coming.
One day, a messenger from the castle visits the laboratory to deliver an order issued by the King. According to the order, the laboratory would be closed, if the owner could not demonstrate, within three years, that alchemy was still useful in the kingdom.
