In the open Strike Force missions, you will also be able to control different objects and vehicles, including jet fighters, drones and even robots. Your progress may even change the plans of the story's antagonist, the ruthless Raul Menendez.

And thanks to Wii U's unique second screen, players can also dive into the Call of Duty action via the Wii U GamePad's touch screen, which can also be used to view multiplayer maps, take advantage of Scorestreaks and select loadouts.

Multiplayer Mode features the most advanced weapons and equipment available in 2025, introduces a Zombies Mode with its own campaign that runs parallel to the main story, and includes several new game types, for an immersive multiplayer experience at its best. Multiplayer options include Create Class, with a new “pick 10” assignment system that allows for a combination of 10 items. No longer will you have to choose content from each category, but you will be able to swap items from one category for additional items in another, opening up almost endless possibilities and combinations.

Scorestreaks reward you for helping your team win, such as capturing flags, defending your teammates with an assault shield, and getting kills and assists. All of these actions make it easier for your team to win, and as a result, they award you points. League Play, on the other hand, allows you to compete against other players based on your skill level. After playing a few games to establish your level, you will be placed in a division of players of equal skill. The more you win, the higher your rank, which will move you up the ladder to higher divisions.

Another great feature is CODcasting, which allows you to commentate on your favorite games. Together, League Play and CODcasting greatly enhance the gaming experience of Call of Duty Black Ops II , turning you into the commentator of your favorite challenges towards leaderboard domination.
