Game Boy Advance SP (where SP stands for Special Project (Special Project) is an improved version of the portable console Game Boy Advance. The SP's screen, slightly larger than the GBA's, is mounted on a folding door. The monitor also has a front light, which can be turned off when you no longer need it. Another new feature is the rechargeable lithium battery that allows up to 10 hours of consecutive gaming with the light on, 18 with the light off. The Game Boy Advance SP is backwards compatible and can read games from all its predecessors.
