Banana thieves are on the run

Those bad guys from the Tiki Tak Tribe have hypnotized the residents of Donkey Kong Island and made off with Donkey Kong's precious stash of bananas! It's up to DK and his trusty sidekick Diddy Kong to track down the bandits and show them what happens when you touch Donkey Kong's precious treasure.

With 80 levels spread across nine worlds, each with a nasty final boss, our two primates will have to do their best to recover their precious bananas. It will take great skill on those platforms to uncover every secret, find every collectible, and earn every medal in the Time Trial mode.

Secrets galore

Collect puzzle pieces to unlock dioramas and pictures in galleries, and search each world for all the KONG letters to unlock a secret level. As you progress through the game, there are a couple of things to keep in mind.

Shake the ground near interesting spots in the environment. Blow on plants to find useful items. Keep your eyes open for secrets in hidden areas. Get all the bananas in the biggest bunches. Try to find secret areas with mini challenges. Throw barrels at suspicious looking obstacles. Rambi can charge and even break through some blocks.

Two is better

Pass a controller to a friend or family member to help you out as Diddy Kong in local co-op. Diddy Kong can use his jet pack to make crazy jumps, and his trusty peanut gun to blast away his enemies.

1-C Cranky Bazaar

Stop by and see Cranky Kong, who will sell you useful items in exchange for the banana coins you find lying around. You can find balloons, invincibility potions, and other such things that will help you during your adventure on the island.
