In Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze , the Kongs must reclaim their island from the clutches of the Snowmen of the northern seas. To do so, they must set out on a journey across five different islands, as well as the now frozen Donkey Kong Island.

Along with Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong returns to the series as a main character, while Cranky Kong becomes a playable character for the first time! The game also features a two-player co-op mode, with each player controlling one of the characters, allowing them to work together to overcome each level!
