Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire

 They take place in the region of Hoenn, located some distance from the regions of Kanto And Johto present in previous games. Hoenn's design is based on the region of Kyūshū; however, Hoenn is rotated 90 degrees from the real world, as Jun'ichi Masuda felt it would provide better gameplay balance. Like Kyūshū, Hoenn has many smaller islands, and parts of the region are dominated by sea lanes, many of which contain areas where the player can dive underwater.

History

As with the other titles in the series, these two versions also deal with the adventure of a young person (male or female depending on the player's choice) who wants to become trainer of Pokémon.


The player can also catch five other legendary Pokemon: Rayquaza at the Tower of Heaven after defeating the Pokemon League, Latios or Latias (Traveling Pokemon of these versions) and with a particular procedure Regirock, Register And Regice.
