The title features a total of 16 sports disciplines that the user can try their hand at. For example, there are athletics, from the 100-meter sprint to the hurdles, to team sports such as football and rugby.

Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is an arcade game designed for families and groups of friends, where each user can develop and customize their own avatar (male or female option, aesthetic attributes, country of origin and name), and challenge players from all over the world. Or they can compete alone against artificial intelligence.

Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game is a truly challenging and fun product, even if the brightly colored graphic style and gameplay designed by SEGA did not focus on realism, compared to other games dedicated to individual disciplines.
