PLOT

Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell, is sent by his king and friend Robert Baratheon to King's Landing to take up the post of Hand of the King. However, war between the Seven Kingdoms is upon us, due to the intrigues and ambitions for the throne of the members of the noble House Lannister. Jon Snow, Eddard Stark's illegitimate son, instead enlists in the Night's Watch and goes to the Wall, a huge wall of ice that separates the world of men from the hostile lands of the North, from which a terrible threat is arriving. Meanwhile, Daenerys Targaryen and her cruel brother Viserys, the last survivors of the noble House Targaryen that ruled before the Baratheon uprising, try to rebuild their ancient power in the wild lands beyond the sea.
