ISS Pro Evolution is the third video game in the ISS series produced by Konami specifically for the PlayStation. In Japan it was released under the name Winning Eleven 4. The engine was recreated providing new player movements, animations and improved graphics. The following slogans were used during the promotion: "The king of football returns", "This is really football!". The new version featured an updated player roster, more game modes, teams (including club teams for the first time), stadiums and environments and a highly developed player editor, no longer limited to the name edition alone. ISS Pro Evolution was precise in every detail and aspect of the game, for example the team captain could be selected with the captain's badge on the arm or the color of the players' shoes could be customized. Replays could be stored on the memory card, as could trophies won and bonuses unlocked. In this version the one-two pass system has been greatly developed, becoming one of the major threats to the opponent, and dribbling, including the curling shot, has been introduced as an element of the game.
