No In Beowulf: The Video Game , based on the film adaptation of the Norwegian epic poem by Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis, you play as a hero tormented by the desire for glory and power.

You are the legendary Norse warrior with the strength of 30 men and on your journey to Denmark to kill Grendel, a terrible beast, you will either suffocate or give vent to your arrogance and your lust for glory. Through deception, you will claim the throne of Denmark and as King, you will lead your knights into battle and will have to deal with the consequences of your ambition.

Only when you look fate in the eye will you know what kind of hero you truly are.
