LEGO Lord of the Rings , follows the original storyline of the The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring , The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers , and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King , taking players through these epic events now reimagined with the endless humour and variety of LEGO bricks. Tasked with the daunting task of destroying an ancient ring that threatens all that is good in the world, Frodo is forced to leave his peaceful home. But the road to Mount Doom, the only place where he can be destroyed, will be dangerous and filled with Orcs and other terrible beings.

To aid Frodo, a fellowship is formed, consisting of Aragorn the Ranger, Gandalf the Wizard, Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Boromir, and Frodo's friends Sam, Merry, and Pippin. Players will relive the legend in LEGO form as they explore wonders, solve timeless puzzles, and confront endless fears in their quest to destroy the Ring of Power.
