Plot

The Galactic Federation base is under siege by Space Pirates. Samus must start the generator to restore the defense systems. But at the end of her journey, something terrible awaits her.

Samus, Dark Samus, the Galactic Federation and new bounty hunters.

How to progress in the game

The war started by Dark Samus and the Space Pirates is raging across the galaxy. Using the controller (not included), players must explore alien territories, search for weapons and information, and destroy Phazon seeds. But saving the planets won't be enough, as players must also eliminate Samus' mortal enemy, Dark Samus.

Powers/weapons/moves/special options

In addition to the controller, players can use a variety of other weapons at their disposal. In true Metroid style, these will be upgraded as the game progresses. But that's not all, because the controller will also be used for a variety of gameplay elements that go far beyond the usual standards for first-person shooters.
