The battle of the bounty hunters begins! Join Samus Aran as she battles six deadly rivals who are trying to steal ancient artifacts that could spell doom for the galaxy.

A strange telepathic message calls Samus to a distant region of space where an ancient civilization once ruled. And it is there, the message says, that the secret to the ultimate power lies. The problem is that Samus is not the only one who has felt this call. Six other bounty hunters, among the most ruthless in the galaxy, are in fact trying to recover it for their own evil purposes.

In the main game mode, "Adventure," the action takes place on several planets, which you can reach aboard Samus' trusty spaceship. Each planet is a labyrinth of rooms, tunnels, and lots of inviting closed doors, in perfect Metroid style.

Use Samus' high-tech tools and lightning-fast reflexes to secure relics in intense solo missions, or link up with up to three friends for wireless play in true "Deathmatch" style!
