The fate of the world hangs by a thread

Across the world, the Rathalos are fading. The last hope for their race lies in the hands of a Wyverian girl, who entrusts you with a mysterious egg. The egg hatches, revealing a Rathalos with small wings, unable to fly. Legends, however, warn of such a creature, capable of destroying the world. Could this Rathalos be the dangerous monster of the prophecies?

Allies and Enemies

To protect Sharp Ratha you will have to venture to many different locations. Along the way you will meet a large number of characters, both allies and enemies.

Forge bonds with the Monsties

During your adventures, you will come across eggs, which will eventually hatch into creatures called Monsties. By raising Monsties, you can turn them into loyal companions and use their unique abilities to your advantage.

Breathtaking battles

Not all monsters you encounter will be friendly. When it's time to fight, team up with your Monsties to take on enemies in turn-based battles.

Battles are based on three types of attacks - power, speed, and technique. Choose the one that best suits your enemy's fighting style and inflict the most damage possible. Don't let your guard down, though - monsters can change their strategy, so constantly adapt yours throughout the battle.

Each turn, the Bond Gauge you share with your Monstie fills up. Use its charge to unleash powerful abilities that can inflict status ailments, block monster attacks, and turn the tide of battle in your favor. Using the same type of attack as your Monstie can perform a Double Attack, dealing more damage and filling the Bond Gauge faster.

Take advantage of your teammates

Occasionally, your allies will assist you in battle. With three characters at your side, your chances of winning will quickly increase. Your companions will choose which moves to use on their own. However, if you have a Rider with you, you can also perform double attacks with their Monstie, for truly devastating blows.

Join forces with friends

Team up with friends or challenge them in a variety of multiplayer modes, both locally and online.

Take on quests and explore special areas only accessible in multiplayer modes with another Rider. Go on expeditions to search for rare Monsties eggs, test your skills against specific monsters, or take on Trial Quests.
