Legendary Pokémon are larger than life! Dialga is a giant Pokémon that is said to be able to manipulate time. The mighty Palkia is said to be able to warp space.
The DS touchscreen further improved the Pokémon gameplay system. When players select an attack, important information is displayed on the touchscreen: the name of the attack, the type of attack, and how many Power Points the player has left. The item selection screen is divided into categories, and the items are clearly organized within each category.
In Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, it is possible to tell a Pokémon's gender by its appearance for the first time.
