Poy Poy 2 is the sequel to a 1997 Konami game that is a throw and dodge game. There are different throw or dodge techniques that make it difficult to master but easy to win.

Poy Poy 2 is just as bizarre as its predecessor and the introduction of higher terrain gives it a little depth that the original lacked, but fundamentally it's exactly the same game!

Matches are divided into three groups. Each round ends when one character remains standing or all characters are eliminated in a draw. At the end of the round, you are awarded points based on direct hits, luck, and a round bonus. Direct hits are what they sound like, but they do not include most gauntlet attacks or bomb beam damage. Luck is earned by collecting white heart/cloud-shaped objects that appear from wooden crates. The round bonus is awarded based on the order in which you are eliminated (the first eliminated gets 0 points, the other three get varying amounts of points). The person with the most points at the end wins.

GAME MODES (in order from top to bottom):

- Group game:
This is for playing the game where all the characters fight against each other. This is recommended for beginners.

- PoyPoy Cup:
This is the story mode. You will have to buy your glove according to your sync rate. The higher the rate of a certain character, the more powerful he/she will be who uses the glove.

- Team Battle:
For this mode, you can team up with your friend and play against the computer team (2 players).
