As protagonist Chris Redfield, a former STARS agent and now a member of an organization called the BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance), you must investigate a dangerous African colony, where a new virus is taking over the bodies and minds of the local natives, transforming them into something less than human... and downright deadly.

Alongside Redfield on this mission is Sheva Alomar, the BSAA's West African territory division representative.
