Using the Wii Remote (not included) alone or in conjunction with the Wii Balance Board (not included), Skate It It captures the soul of the acrobatic pastime by allowing you to control the action on the streets with simple, intuitive movements.

The FlickIt control system lets you control all board action through simple tilts and taps of the Wii Remote, allowing you to quickly string together a series of acrobatic combinations as you skate through the concrete jungle of San Vanelona and a variety of real-world locations, perfectly recreated for the experienced skater.

Skate It also opens up new horizons with the introduction of an innovative support for the Wii Balance Board, allowing players to create their own personal style of skateboarding. To jump, simply apply pressure to the board, or lean forward and back to maneuver and control your speed. You'll also use the A Button on the Wii Remote to start, or to get up from a bad fall.

However you decide to take up skateboarding, you’ll be dealing with professional skaters and trying to stand out in the most renowned skate spots on the planet – from London to Shanghai to Barcelona. As you progress, you’ll get sponsored by real skateboarding companies and – hopefully – prove you have the skills to be named Thrasher Magazine’s Skater of the Year.

You’ll also be able to make small adjustments to the environments you visit, moving ramps, bars, and steps to create a scenario that best suits your style. By winning special challenges, you’ll earn new skating items that, when put together, will ultimately create the skatepark of your dreams.

Once you feel up to the task, you can challenge up to three friends in multiplayer mode, taking turns with them to try to perform increasingly challenging stunts that no one else can match.
