    Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers for Mega Drive: Super Street Fighter II is the sequel to Street Fighter II Turbo and Street Fighter II Championship. The game features four new characters and stages, for a total of sixteen playable stages. In addition to single player mode, there are also many multiplayer modes. Among these are the recurring Elimination Squad Battle, in which players compete for the title of champion, and the Score Battle, in which the person with the most points wins. Newer modes include an 8-man double elimination tournament and a challenge mode where players try to score the most points on a CPU opponent or beat them as fast as possible to break records.
