Watch Miis come to life!

You can create a Mii from scratch, starting with a photo, or transfer one you've already made in Mii Maker. In Tomodachi Life, you can give your Mii a voice and set their personality, which determines how they act, what they say, and more!

After assigning your Mii a place to stay in Mii Apartments, liven them up by creating Miis of your family, friends, or anyone you can think of! When you bring your favorite people into the game, amazing things can happen!

Take care of it!

You can bring up to 100 Miis into the Mii Apartments, and you'll have to take care of each one. You can spend time with all the Miis, giving them gifts, helping them decorate their apartments, and playing minigames with them. Try out different activities and find out what each one likes!

Visit every day...

Helping your Miis achieve their dreams is rewarding, but so is enjoying all the daily events of Tomodachi Life It is! Some villagers might become friends, others might have disagreements or even fall in love… unless a rival in love shows up! They might need your advice, so visit them every day!

Explore your new home

Your life in Tomodachi Life takes place on two islands full of interesting shops and places to visit! The goods in the shops change every day and you will always find something new. At first only a few areas will be available, but over time more areas will unlock allowing you to enjoy these islands in all their splendor!

The days and seasons pass on the island just like in real life. Keep your eyes peeled for special events every day!

Among other things, you'll unlock a Café where you can overhear some truly bizarre conversations, a Concert Hall where your Miis can sing along, and an Amusement Park full of fun activities, including a role-playing game called Tomodachi Quest!

Share your best gaming moments

From bizarre dreams to rap duels between family members, you can expect it all in Tomodachi Life! Capture your favorite moments and share them on social media using the Nintendo 3DS Image Share service.

Anything can happen!

When a couple has a child, the child will slowly grow up and want their own space. You can then give them a Mii Apartment or send them out to explore the world! They can visit other players' islands via StreetPass, and you can also receive visitors or goods from other islands! With SpotPass, you can also receive letters or photos from a Mii who is traveling the world.
